Yesterday, Faculty eCommons, in conjunction with Inside Higher Ed, presented a free webinar featuring Michelle Pacansky-Brock and it was a success! Michelle shared examples of what students identify as valuable characteristics of a “humanized” online class and identified key tips and strategies for harnessing the potential of emerging technologies to make online classes personal, meaningful, and memorable.

Michelle Pacansky-Brock is a noted online instructor, faculty development specialist, and leader in the field of online education. She is currently serving as a member of the 2014 Horizon Project Higher Education Advisory Board and is chair-elect for the 2014 Sloan-C International Emerging Technologies Symposium for Online Learning. Michelle is also the author of Best Practices for Teaching with Emerging Technologies and How to Humanize Your Online Class with VoiceThread. She is an online associate faculty at Mt. San Jacinto College, an active speaker, consultant, and has received two Sloan-C Awards for her online teaching excellence.
