Helpful Strategies and Tips: Lecture Notes

Submitted by on August 24, 2012 – 9:51 pmNo Comment

Lecture notes pages, sometimes referred to as instructor notes, are how instructors digitally present to students those things they usually lecture on during a face-to-face class.

Lecture notes can include things like:

  • Anecdotes
  • Tips
  • Guest lecturers
  • Current events
  • Opinions

Remember that you can add images, photographs, clip art, audio and video to your lecture note pages, too. When searching for media on the Internet, be aware of copyright and ADA compliance issues. Just like in the readings section, you can always reference websites, blogs, podcasts, video clips, etc., in your lecture notes. Depending on the length of your lecture notes, you may have one page or multiple pages.
