If you’re an educator but don’t use Twitter, we really think you should. It provides access to a never-ending amount of information for your own professional development and an additional platform for communicating with students. (Plus, it’s a great avenue for expanding your

PLN.)Because Twitter structures information based on hashtags, we’ve developed a list of hashtags in the infographic below that relate to popular topics in the educational landscape. These hashtags should get you started on finding the information you want and potentially help you connect with colleagues and industry experts.


Go ahead, try it:

  1. Find a hashtag in the infographic below that relates to your topic of interest.
  2. On the Twitter homepage, type that hashtag in the Search bar.
  3. Check out all the information Twitter filtered for you based on the hashtag.
